    Hi all,

Ive just got this mouse installed and what i thought was to be working perfectly. But i released the back and forward buttons to work with FireFox 2.0. But they work fine in my computer and such. Anyone else had this problem?

Logitech mice don't play nicely with Fifefox by default. What you have to do is install the SetPoint program, if you haven't already and map the Forward and Back buttons to keystrokes: Alt-LeftArrow and Alt-RightArrow respectively.

I have Firefox 2.0 and the latest logitech drivers and the forward and backward buttons work fine on my MX1000 and MX Revolution mice, so I would make sure you have the latest Logitech drivers first.

One more one line post to confirm that using the SetPoint software is the way to go for the v400. ;)

I've had my v400 for several months now and love it (even got my wife hooked on it & ended up buying one for her laptop). When I upgraded to Firefox 2.0, there were no problems whatsoever, and since SetPoint was installed, the forward/back buttons worked exactly like they should've.

Yes I also have a V400 and I use it with FF2.0 daily. Go to logitech's site and download the drivers for the V400, everything will work great then.
