hi guys ive had a logitech vx nano mouse for almost 3 years and i love it.
it has a very small wireless reciever and uses batteries.
a few weeks ago however i dropped it. it seems to be working ok but ive noticed that the batteries drain really fast now.
i used 2800mah rechargeable batteries and switched to energizer batteries to test if it was actually my four rechargeable batteries that were causing this.
however i got the same fast battery drain from the energizers.
i also tried swithcing the recievers usb ports but still get the same fast drain.
what do you guys think is happening?

i remember hearing that if the contact plate gets dented or otherwise deformed in anyway, it ends up sucking the battery life quicker(and is apparently a fire hazard via sparks created from the electrical arc)

Call logitech, they should take care of you.
Otherwise, try cleaning the contacts with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
