    Hello all,

I've been researching bags for my new Sager NP8660. my only worry is that it is a bit thicker than average 15.4" laptops.
    features I need:
    - I need it to flip open so I can easily slide the laptop and other stuff in and out
    - lots of storage space for my tablet, mouse, pretty big power brick
    - messenger bag, a convertible would be nice in case I need to carry more stuff.

so far Targus 15.4" Radius Convertible Messenger/Backpack seems like the answer. I like the look of it and seems relatively small.

but according Cnet's review the notbook is designed to fit 15.4" macbooks and it says that its a tight fit.. it might be too tight for thicker 15.4" laptops like mine...

    my laptop's dimensions are 14.3" (w) x 10.6" (d) x 1.45"-1.95" (h)

any one has some advice or recommendations.
    Thanks.

Thanks for the link.. but I've looked through most of the links there and I couldn't find one.. mainly because it is hard to tell how good the bag is without seeing it in person.. I've also checked the obvious local stores without much luck..

I found the Targus convertible bag which turned out to be much different than all the photos online.. the colors are much lighter and olive-green-ish .. it looked nasty.. Even the guys at the store thought it came in two colors once they saw the picture on their store's site..

I think I need an experienced advice here.. someone who found and tested a bag that meets my needs..

Thanks, It looks really good.. I'm looking for it in any local store here in Montreal, Canada. I just need to check how black the black version really is..

It looks like it would fit what I carry around.. the np8660, 8x6" intuos3 Wacom tablet, large AC adapter, a big mouse, sketch book, and a small book

I was about to order the Solo vertical messenger bag. Just before I placed the order I realized that it is not weather proof... ie. it doesnt have a zipper to stop rain and snow from getting to my laptop which is a major concern if you live here in Montreal, Canada.

Crap, its back to searching again..

Any other suggestions? I'm getting desperate here :(

Not sure about the thick ness (NP8660 is 1.9'') but the Pakuma Choroka K2 would be an option to consider. The G1S fits in that bag for sure and its a longer (depth wise) notebook than the NP8660, its 1.5'' thick which pushes the limits of the K2's compartment. So yeah the thickness is the only thing which I would worry about.

The G1S's depth was 11.2''...so the compartment is fairly flexible. If you want some pictures of it, just give me a shout.
