    I like this one: http://www.xoxide.com/zmmic1.html

It can clip onto cloths but its designed to clip onto a headphone cord. Chances are if your chatting you should be usiing a headphone because speakers cause reverb.

Its cheap, small & light and it has a good quality. Its not as good as a boom where the mic is right infront of your mouth so you do have to talk a bit louder or kinda try to talk down to the microphone but it works as intended.

Says who? There is a difference in buying a cheap car from a used car dealership than there is to getting a cheap microphone because you know how to shop around.

Simple objects dont have to cost a lot, and its a trusted brand in this case with nothing but good reviews.

I dont think you understand, a microphone is not something that is normally expensive. So if you have some radical cutting edge product you think is better chances are your just over paying.

Also he didnt say he wants to record a new record or be a news anchorman, so we are not talking studio quality here where things become pricey and specialized.

Rather than making pointless comments why dont you make a product recommendation? Obviously you know something we dont right?

I would go with the Zalman. I have heard great things about it from other people on this forum. Also, zimbros12, as Vicious said.

He recommended a potential mic to buy that is based off reviews and price. What is the point of finding the cheapest mic on the net and recommending it.? Just makes you look like a jerk.

I agree with the Zalman, it's popular with a proven track record and has no durability issues.
