What sort of things do you do with a mouse? Gaming? Or just daily uses?
For daily uses i would recommend a Logitech MX or VX revolution (VX is the notebook version, but actually its quite big for a notebook mice).
For a cooling pad...take a look at my reviewThe Zalman NC1000 is popular also.
-
For a mouse, I recommend the Razer mice, sure they're for gaming but so comfortable and well perfect for everything. ( Diamondback 3G frost blue is what I got, and aw man..*creams pants* )
I just bought the Zalman NC1000 cooler, it's nice, great quality, although don't notice any difference in CPU temperatures while gaming.. I'll have to do some benchmarking to really see if it is making a difference. But the bottom of my laptop stays frosty cool, instead of really warm and in gaming cases, burning hell. -
I don't find the diamond back as comfortable and the logitech G series...having had both and using a diamondback right now...the razer deathadder is the best of both worlds
-
basically programming, and daily use and at times gaming but not serious gaming
razers are cool looking and preferred for gaming, are they better the g5 or mx revolution if yes then which of the wide variety they have ??
also are there any wireless mouse which give same comfort and performance other then the mx revolution mentioned above -
G7?
You should go to your local best buy or something to try some out -
u would save some $$ buying razer...logitech has brand value so unnecessary costs... Razer has coolest mice & they are designed well too to fit your palm
-
it boils down to deathadder and G5
deadthadder is selling for ($46-$10 google checkout+free shipping=$36) at buy.com
G5 is selling for ($53-$10+$5 for shipping=$47) at buy.com -
u are absolutely right..its no use buying older models..i believe in one time investment.
-
one last question though are there equally good cordless mouse ? else will settle with deathadder and hope will be great for regular non gaming use too
-
the response is slower i ve heard...but the difference is so little that you can ignore it...
they are expensive also & benchmarkers usually ignore wireless mouse.
U can buy if u can afford the price ...currently best cordless gaming mouse are by logitech...G7

thanks for the reply mate
am looking for a cooling pad without a fan what do you suggest as zalman and all are with fan -
the Belkin cooling pad is the most elegantly built, the most silent & the most effecient....ya so it is more expensive but best.
-
its good looking and has good reviews but it has a fan am looking for one without a fan
-
Zalman ZM-NC1000

Different technology but it might be expensive
Although i dont think any cooling pad works without fan...theres no water cooling pad currently...maybe someone will invent soon -
thanks for you suggestions have placed order for deathadder
cooling pad am not sure of i guess liquild cooled pad wont be of that great use but still something worth looking for in future, only reason i didnt want one with fan as will make it heavy less portable andwill suck power from laptop and might not be as comfortable to have on you laps while working but thats just what i assue -
There are quite a few coolers that will plug right into the wall, bypassing your USB ports entirely.

is the only model I've heard of with no fans and noticible results. There is a black version on the site as well.
