well, i just took back my v400, and i dont want a wireless mouse lol...mabe it was just a bad experience, but it didnt seem to work to well. if theres a better wireless, let me know...
anyways, now im looking for a good corded mouse. I like logitech's "toggle" on the scroll wheel, very convenient for back/forward during web browsing. if i could find a mouse like that, not necesarily logitech, and not that expensive, that would be great
    thanks for the help

Don't know if this one meets quite all your criteria, but I can attest that it is a very nice corded mouse: the Logitech G5. It tracks really well, has adjustable weights so you can tailor its mass to your liking and has on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment. Only thing it lacks is the thumb button for indicating "forward" in a browser. There's a thumb "back" button, at least.

Anyway, it has a cord and might be worth checking out. :)

G5 FTW...at least until the Microsoft/Razer Habu gaming mouse comes out. It should be available in October. :D

snowbrdkid, if you're not after a gaming mouse or something terribly portable, you should take a look at the MX400. It's a fairly nicely shaped corded laser mouse with plenty of buttons, and I think it would be more convenient for everyday use than the somewhat button-deprived G5.

I absolutely love my Logitech MX510. Best corded mouse I've tried.

Haha, you should try the Logitech G7 mouse.

Logitech kicks-ass, infact I have 2 MX518 right now but one is Brand NEW in BOX! and the other is what I am using right now =).

I want to get rid of it so I can buy a G7 wireless mouse -_-

I personally love my Razer Copperhead mouse but it is a bit expensive. Instead, you might want to look into the Razer Diamondback's. They have 7 buttons which can be assigned to do whatever you want them to and these mice absolutely rock for gaming in case that is of any concern to you.
