the title say it all. Can some one suggest me a mice that costs $50 or less, preferably one with a back button? At first i was considering an Microsoft arc but the build quality seems pretty skeptical...

    I think you mean "< $50". :p

Anyway, what are your criteria? Do you want a specifically left- or right-handed mouse, or is ambidextrous/symmetrical what you prefer? Wired or wireless? Do you want a gaming-grade mouse?

If you want a decent Normal Sized mouse, Staples has the MS Wireless Mouse 5000 for 20 dollars, I think that ends tomorrow, and the Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 for 30, both have 2 buttons on each side of the mouse, although the 6000 is a fair bit smaller than the 5000. The Bluetrack tech works pretty well on just about anything you want to try it on minus clear glass. Both are suited to use in either hand.

I know nothing about gaming mice, so I'll stop here.
