i am looking for something for my 5791, id like a backpack style but will go for a bag as well.. i want basically the most padded protective one i can get. not to concerned about looks. i want this to be able to actually protect the notebook and the sharp corners it has so they dont get chewed up. i am totally ocd with my systems so this definately needs to be super soft inside and super padded. i want something where it will easilt slide into not something it has to be stuffed into that will wear out the edges like some bags do..

waterproof is not ness but def water resistant at least. maybe at least a nylon or better to at least repel water id spend around 75-150 but i dont think id spend any more than that and the lower of course the better IF THE QUALITY is as good as something more expensive..

any ideas?? please let me know thanks.

They are good but I read few reviews on them. They dont have enough padding on the inside. I heard that sleaves not strong enough. Check oakley bags. But I want to buy slappa spider one and get one of Foofbags=) http://foofshop.com/#bag.

actually i looked at the booq backpack and i think i like the slappa ones better where the notebook sits. the slappa has a cover with velcro under the zipper to prevent the zipper from scratching it

Well slappa is a good choice, I think. I will buy one once I get my laptop, but I like spider design more. Think about cover for your laptop too. I dont think any backpack will have enough padding. Its always better to have more than not enough.

Well I didnt find a bad review. It said that its a great bag, but there was not enough padding on the bottom of the bag. Im trying to find that review, but once again it didnt say its a bad backpack.

so you dont think any backpack will have enough padding? they look like they have more padding than most of the soft "breifcase" style ones do?? and i am VERY VERY careful with placing it down etc.. knowing me ill stuff some towels or something like that in there also

Well I want as much padding as I can get for what I paid for my laptop. I think you the same. I wont put my laptop in breifcase, because to me its like caring your laptop in the hands without anything, so if I buy Slappa I will do like you just said put some towels or buy a big cotton made cover for my laptop. Well I wonder now if cotton can scratch =)).

Well Im not a specialist on backpacks, but it depends on company of the backpack. Its like companies of laptops. There ones that care about there customers and product. There ones that dont give a crap about laptop protection or customers, and just make there backpacks to sell. Well the one that I think is the best for me is Oakley - expensive product, but everyone knows they stand behind what they sell. The second one I like is Slappa - new in making backpacks, but they made themself known behind there othe product. There probably more great companies, but as far as I know this two are one of the top ones.
