I am searching for a good bluetooth mouse and possibly a keyboard as well. The logitech 5000 combo looks good but I think it uses a bluetooth relay? I've been looking at the apple mighty mouse wireless and the logitech v270... for a macbook pro btw.... any suggestions? Just looking for a mouse I don't need an adapter for, thanks :)

Unless your Macbook Pro has internal BT, there's no way that you can be dongle free. If your MBP has internal BT option, then consider V270 (cause that's what I'm going to get for my M1330 too). If you want superior bandwidth for say a bit of gaming go for Logitech VX Nano which has the world's smallest dongo at the moment (8mm only) so you can virtually keep it in your laptop's usb port without much trouble.

I think all of the mac notebooks have internal bluetooth, but yes mine does.... hmm I was trying to avoid taking up a usb port since I only have 2.... but I guess it can't be avoided if I want at least some gaming from the mouse.... :|

Get a USB hub if you need more.

The Logitech V270 mouse that you mention is one of the best bluetooth mice in the market at the moment.
