Any wireless mouse is rechargeable if you get rechargeable batteries.
The Logitech G7 comes with 2 of its own batteries and a charger, I packed it for a long time in my laptop bag.
The Razer Mamba is not appropriate for portable use as the charging dock acts as the wireless base and its way too big for a bag. -
As Vicious says, pretty much the only way to do it is get any wireless mouse you want and then get rechargeable batteries for it. Depending on the mouse you use (my dad has a cheap Logitech Bluetooth mouse from Dell that can stretch a pair of fully charged batteries for what seems like weeks) the batteries can last a long time before a recharge.

You can have a look on Logitech G700 if you are into gaming. However, the battery might not as great as other regular wireless mouse.
-
If you're worried about batteries, I have used the Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 an average of at least 8 hours per day every day since early June, left on overnight most nights. Its original batteries are now at 60%.

Both the Logitech G700 and the Logitech Performance MX allow you to recharge the battery inside the mouse using a regular USB / microUSB cable. The actual battery inside the mouse is a AAA Sanyo Eneloop NiMH rechargeable, so it is easy to replace if the battery starts losing its ability to hold a charge down the road. Both Logitech mice use tiny nano USB wireless receivers, so both mice would be very portable solutions.
The Razer Mamba and the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 also use rechargeable batteries. However, both of those mice use rather large recharging / base stations, which are not very suitable to carry around with you in a laptop bag. -
What will you be using the mouse for, general use? Gaming?
-
The Performance MX uses an AA battery but otherwise, yeah, that's correct.
It gives you the flexibility of recharging the mouse from your laptop using a standard cable ( I bought a cheap retractable microUSB cable off eBay for that purpose) or just swapping the battery out with any other AA one. -
take a look at the Roccat Pyra mouse HERE
im seriously thinking of getting one soon. -
nope just regular things. web browsing, skool stuff the usual
im using a targus rechargable one i bought in the states 2 years ago but the middle turn button is acting up. i dont need anything fancy. are there any that have a battery indicator on them? -
Please let us know what you think.
Roccat products are hard to find here in the US. They are mostly European at the moment. -
now you mention it it hasnt got usa on the drop down list.now thats a first.
im sure you can find some uk suppliers that will ship to america.
i started a thread HERE before i went out and bought one. now not sure so am also looking at the G700
ill keep you posted. -
A lot of the mice posted thus far are gaming mice, one that I would recommend for general use is the Logitech M705, you don't have to worry about the rechargeable battery as the battery is supposed to last for 3 years. I know someone who has had it on for nearly months with heavy usage, always on and its going fine. (I believe it takes 2x AA)
I wouldn't bank on three years but somewhere in the 2 range would be my guess before you have to swap the batteries

Ah, yes. If you're just looking for a regular day-to-day mouse and do not need gaming-level performance, the Logitech M705 (Marathon mouse) is an excellent choice. It is even more convenient than rechargeable wireless mice, because the batteries don't need recharging - they just last forever.

ok thanks i'll look into it

The only US-based distributor of Roccat products is Performance PCs. I said in another thread I've not ordered from them, but they have a good reputation on Resellerratings. -
i went to get the pyra today but its a very small mouse so i decided against it. if the kone was available as wireless i would snap that up straight away.
think im going more for the g700 logitech now but they had none in stock.
