ahh but they might ask for the serial number off your receiver if it has one. they might also ask for the receiver back :p

roguemonk, everyone steals. we drink coffee that is part of land stolen by its original owners who are now probably working their rear ends off on the land they lost. they get paid peanuts so u and I (well i dont drink coffee) can buy it cheap in our safe little worlds. we purchase oil from oil companies that work with oppressive dictatorial governments that steal the oil from their people, use it to build mansions and death camps and western governments who collude with oil companies to keep the dictators in power. we buy clothes from companies that use sweat shop like factories so we can buy dirt cheap ;)

I would just tell the truth. If they dont give you one then come back. Just dont give personal info. Anyway I think lying about it is wrong however I dont think it is fair either for someone to pay $$$ for an honest mistake. If they wont budge just say yours broke. They wont ask you to ship the "broken" one back.

I called Logitech and told them I had problems with the mouse. They asked for both the reciever and mouse PID and P/N's...so it looks like you'll have to buy a new one..
