    manually set DPI on Sidewinder?

    is there a way to set the dpi on the original microsoft sidewinder to something like 1400? 2000 is a little too high for me, while 2000 is a bit high and I'm looking for something right in the middle but can't do it with the preset buttons.

    If I am not mistaken you should be able to if you have the driver installed.

    Yes, did you install the included software? There should be a setting that lets you assign the DPI setting for teh three center buttons on the mouse.

    -I have the Sidewidner, so I know :p

    nope, bought it used so it either didn't come with it or i lost it.
