ok, i have a 1st gen nano, but i wanna upgrade (nothing wrong with it, i just want somthing new). So... i REALLY like the ipod touch.... i like the thin - ness and the whole wifi thing as well as the UI. Un fortunatly, it is very expensive. Is there anything similar to it? thanks (oh, and id like as much room as possible for the $$.... i wanna try keeping this around $200 or less) thanks

The Archos 605wifi comes in 4gb (flash) all the way to 160gb (harddrive) versions, you may want to check that out. It's designed as an answer to the itouch, but i'm not sure about the prices (my 80gb one [w/a hard drive] cost $300)

    thats what jail breaking means

how about the ipod video/classic. $250 for the 80 gig. a lot more room than the touch and a lot less. i have the ipod video and im really happy with it. its almost 2 yrs old and still works great. plug it into my pioneer deck in the car and it works amazing. if your not stuck to apple try microsoft's zune. 200 for the 30 gig, i don't own one but im reading about them and they seem pretty nice. fm transmitter, witlessly sync your music when you get to your home network. go to your local best buy or electronics store and play around them them to see which one feel right to use.
