Does anyone knowns an usb3.0 micro SD reader? I can only find standard size usb3.0 SD readers which are very bulky :(
All micro SD I can find are only usb3.0...

Why do you need USB 3.0 for microSD?

are the micro sd cards you are using even capable of making use of 3.0 speeds? i saw a review and only the really fast sd cards were able to see a difference.

Considering USB 2.0 tops out at 30-35MB/s in the best case scenarios i've seen, a good class 10 (or above) SD card could go over that. Not all class 10 cards will of course, but some are likely capable of saturating a USB 2.0 port. Even if it tops at 40MB/s, you still get faster results with USB3.0.

Is that megabytes or megabits? I don't know of any cards you can write to or read from at 95 megabytes a second... and from personal experience, if they could, they'd be melted on to whatever they're connected to ._.

I have 2 Sandisk Extreme Pro they are above class 10 they are called UHS (ultra high speed) but they are still only rated 45mb/s

This one however does say 95mb/s

With anything like this advertised speed may be a far cry from real life speeds.

Don't known where you got your experiece but I've dozens of memory cards and never ever got one that melted.
Don't known what's your problem. if you just want to troll and not to help go do it somewhere else.

Those are full size SD cards.
    I'm talking about MICRO SD
this is the one I got.

full or micro, class 10 is class 10.

you sure are belligerent. maybe a quick google search would have been better as no one is going to magically have something you couldn't have found yourself.

I already linked the smallest one you're gonna find and if you want smaller then you can wait for the technology to actually mature to a point that accessories are more abundant.

    I appreciate your help.
But classes are worthless. they are just marketing. I've class 4 cards performing better then class 10 ones and vice versa.

sometimes electronic parts are hard to find but they do exist.
I can give you some examples that I couldn't find it myself but that others were kind to find it for me.

thank you. that is great. it has a microsd only slot as well as full size. not ideal but better then just full size SD ones.
going to buy one of those.

but still looking for a smaller microSD ONLY.

I'm puzzled why can't I find. there are so many usb2.0 around. I started to think it's impossible to make such a smaller usb3.0 one. but it's not true because I was able to find several very small usb3.0 pen drives.

I'm guessing manufacturers haven't felt the need to make one yet given that very high bandwidth SD cards like the one you have is rather rare and most people don't care about it all that much.

That being said, if you do find one, let us know. I'm interested in this as well, the smallest micro sd adapter possible and then using micro sd cards instead of flash drives to take up less space.

    Hello,

I don't find any information about if this USB reader is USB 3 or USB 2
    Could you confirm me ?

I also found this one :
    Newegg.com - TOPRAM RV32 USB 3.0 Dual Slot Card Reader Support 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB 128GB SD SDHC SDXC microSD microSDHC microSDXC - Card Readers

The size is too big for my purpose (get 6 microSD slot on an USB 3 Hub).

    Thanks.
