I bought a 2gb microSD card (sandisk) from amazon a few days ago, not the ultra version - this was branded as for music and photos on mobile phones.

Anyone with the u600 will be able to tell you, it's a quick and smart phone, but when I put the card in, it progressively gets about 100x worse.

For example: with the memory card in, there is a 1second delay after i press any of the number keys before they appear in dialling.

Or for example, when trying to play a track on the sd card, it takes 12 seconds to seek it.

    Any ideas?

Does that phone oficially support 2gb memcards? If it doesn't, the card might work, but it will slow down the phone
