It is currently on sale at BestBuy for $39.99 so I bought one to try out. I wanted a mouse with the small receiver. I bought a Logitech V450 Nano for my wife and she likes it, but the buttons are too narrow for my fingers. The MMM6k has a bit of an unusual shape but I thought it would work for me so I bought one.

I cranked up the mouse last night on my Dell Latitude with Vista Business. Vista installed the driver as soon as I put the receiver in the USB port. The little receiver looks the same size or smaller than the little one that Logi provides with the Nano mice, and sticks out of the computer about 1/4" or a tiny bit more. The mouse has an on/off switch so I switched it on and it immediately worked.

Using the mouse, it provided fast cursor speed as a default, a tiny bit faster than I'm used to. I decided to see if I could like it that way before trying to change it. Overall the cursor movement was good, with no lag. I tried the blue-track and found that the mouse would work just fine when operating on top of a clean sheet of white copy paper.

The mouse is small, approximately the same size as the Logitech V450 nano, but is easier for me to use with my bigger hands because of the shape of the top.

My only criticism of the mouse was that the scroll wheel was a bit touchy. It would detect very small movements of the wheel and react accordingly, and since my middle finger wants to rest on the scroll wheel that was happening frequently. I will have to spend some time with the mouse and determine if I can get used to this.

I did not load the software that came with the mouse so I cannot program any of the other buttons.

Overall it is a small and convenient package that will work well for travel, especially since it seems to work on a bigger variety of surfaces than my wired MS mouse that I typically use with the laptop.

I love the Mouse, I have only noticed a bit of *lag* hesitancy here and there, but other than that it's absolutely fantastic.

Right now you can get it for a much better deal at amazon.com, BTW..free shipping $34.99..

I got a 6000 today. I replaced the Mini Explorer with this one.
Feels flimsy, especially the scroll wheel, which had excessive 'free play' (wobbly). The ME had nicer and steadier scroll wheel.
I find that the 6000 had quieter buttons and did not require much pressure to click (good for the fingers..as i was getting sore tendons when using the ME).
It doesn't have that bluish light as shown on the ad but that's battery saving for me!

Overall ok mouse. I just wished the scroll wheel was sturdier!
