Wasn't really sure where to put tyhis thread but does anyone have any suggestions for a good notebook wireless mini mouse that is worth the price and less than $50.

This is pretty personal since fit is a big part of it. If your notebook has Bluetooth, it's worthwhile to go that route. Targus has a few options though, I'd start there.

I heard somewhere about "blue tooth lag" as being a reason not to buy a bluetooth mouse. Would you know anything about it. Thanks for the suggestion

There's no such thing. I've been using BT mice for years.

personally i dont like having to worry about batteries, so i'd just get a corded (retractable or not, depends on user preference) notebook mouse. usually cheaper too.

I use my notebook at work for about 10 hours a day and have never had problems using battery powered mice. They last for a long time and when the battery dies after a few weeks, I use the touchpad for a few hours until I can buy a pack of AAs.

I suggest going to Best Buy and checking out some of the mice they have on display. Sometimes, you can get a good deal on them - for example, my mouse was on sale for $49, down from $59.

I have a BenQ mouse that's really good and it's a mini as well. No cord, no bluetooth, but optical. The USB key goes into the back of the mouse for storage when your finished with it. Really cool. Here's a pic.

I was thinking of getting the benq in the above post or a targus mouse. Would anybody here know which is better quality? And btw, thanks for your help.

Targus has a nice one and it is rechargeable: Targus 10-Channel Wireless Mini Optical Mouse
    Item: PAWM30U
It uses a USB cable to recharge, has a built-in lithium battery and an on/off switch. It is surprisingly comfortable for a small mouse. The USB dongle does not store in the mouse, but it comes with a little pouch case for the mouse and dongle.
The Kensington Pocketmouse Bluetooth Optical is a nice mouse too if you have Bluetooth- uses 2 AA batteries and has good battery life.

Unless I find something better, I'm probably going to pick up the 1000dpi Logitech v270 BT when it comes out. My W3V came with the v200, and it works fine, but the dongle is annoying me. The v270 looks almost identical, except it uses BT instead of the proprietary dongle and RF.
