I recently bought a Logitech G9, even though I love the high DPI, the middle mouse button (scroll wheel) is a pain in the *** to click. So I returned it and got a MX518, I like the scroll wheel on this much better, but I miss the high DPI I had on my G9. There is also the G5 which has a slightly higher DPI than MX518, but I heard that the wheel on G5 is also hard to click, is this true? I haven't tried any other gaming mice yet.

second question, I might get a 18.4" laptop. I currently have a 17" laptop with a cooler designed for 15.4" laptops. It works fine on my 17" but I doubt it will hold my 18.4" without making it fall off. So are there any good coolers out there that can fit a 18.4" laptop? or a 17"?

You should have kept the G9. It took a while for me to get used to the middle click on the hyper scrollwheel on my MX 1100, but I got it down and middle clicking comes natural and smooth for me now.

No idea on the mice, but on the subject of coolers.. I'll recommend the Zalman NC2000 or the Cyro NZXT.
