Hmm, look at the Kensington, Logitech and Microsoft mouses for laptops, those are pretty good.
Whats the budget? -
forgot to add that cheap would be nice also. i think i saw a kensington at staples for cheap.

You might want to try ebay..I brought my laptop mouse from there for about $5.00, its usb...lights up, I have had it for awhile, I have had no problems..I am not sure if you are looking for a wireless, mine's has a retractable cord.

oh what is yours called?

Have a Kensington Pilot mouse. I think they make a non-bluetooth version as well.

Not to bust in on your budget, but my theory behind mice is that you should budget at least a decent amount ($30-ish) for something that I assume you'll be using very frequently. The mouse is the one peripheral that most users use the most by far, so it makes absolutely no sense IMO to go cheap on an essential peripheral. It's like buying a high end graphics card and then buying a junky monitor to go along with it. Spend more on what you use the most...
On that note, you are looking for a good, compact, portable optical mouse. Microsoft makes a very nice laptop optical mouse, and so does Logitech. Both should suit your needs well for around the $25-$30 price point. You can find them online for less, or if you are more adventurous, you can find the step up models for around $30 if you look hard enough.

I had the the Microsoft one as well. It was a little small for me, but worked well otherwise.

Make sure it feels good ergonomically, is backed by a decent warranty, and has a sensitivity that you find comfortable.
