    mouse not working after windows update

    I have an HP laptop, 1.8Ghz, 512 MB memory. My computer downloaded and installed an automatic windows update (I am running XP). Ever since then, a few days ago, my USB mouse stopped working. The same thing happened to my son's mouse on his HP laptop. Could this be related to the update?

    Uninstal/reinstall drivers will solve the problem.
