    I have the e270 (6GB) version.

    I like it. The only drawback is the proprietary cables. Other than that, it is a good device.

    Go with the Creative. I have 2 older models and they work great and sound good.

    Got a cheap 1gb Sansa for my son and it was dead out of the box. Took it back to Radio Shack and exchanged it for another one, which stopped working within two weeks, took that one back and the manager there told me that this always happens with Sansa, appologized, and gave me a refund. I then bought him a Creative.

    I personally wouldn't get the sansa, sandisk, maybe get the Creative. I personally like products from Cowon.
