    I have a Inspiron 1721 & I use the S-Video connector (next to where you plug in the other end of the AC adapter) to connect to the TV.

    Not sure about the Wii...

    for the wii you MIGHT be able to use a tv tuner card of some sort. and i think those cables should work but i didnt see the 1720 listed as a "compatable device".
