Sorry to hear about this. Just about every one of my logitech products has to be replaced every 6-8 months or so (I'm on my 3rd keyboard, need a 4th, 2nd mouse that stops working 5 times a week until I shake it around)...can't say I'm going to be purchasing anything from them in the near future unless it looks to be very very very well built.

As others have said, definitely call them. Sitting next to my laptop is my over 5 year old logitech mouse. They make good stuff, this shouldn't have happened.

You must be abusing your equipments ;-). We have 4 or 5 set of logitech wireless keyboard and mouse in the office and most are over 5 years old and none have ever failed.

I might have missed something, or just mis-read it. But did you just say that you replaced the battery and now it is dead? Are you sure you did not put a bad battery in it? Or put it in upside down?

That sucks kworld, I have a vx also and I broke the charger (don't ask). I remember seeing a replacement charger online, but I can't seem to find it. Good luck with yours though.

My VX Revolution free-spin just stopped spinning, it only spins about 1/4 of a second now, before it used to spin about 20 seconds straight. Sucks I cant get help on this from Logitech since I bought it off eBay...

Are you sure that you didn't put the battery in the wrong way? Have you tried orienting the battery the other way? It seems very weird for something to die after changing its battery. My Logitech VX Revolution has been going strong for over a year now. I once changed the battery and put it in incorrectly and the mouse didn't work until I found out my mistake. Also, I have had problems with cheap batteries such as carbon zinc batteries that were too short and wouldn't make good contact, causing the mouse to appear dead. I have no problems with Energizer, Duracell or Rayovac batteries. The battery's (+) terminal should be the end closest to the opening of the battery access cover.

    It might not be broken.

Have you tried repairing it with the receiver?
