Yup any keyboard will work, even your old one; but it will need a Ps-to-Usb adapter and fit into the USB of your laptop.

But just getting a new USB keyboard, would be a better and funner shopping option. You can get a backlit one too for nighttime! (if you need to look on your keys)

I would expect you would want wireless for a laptop.. set the laptop down on the coffee table and sit back on the couch.. use a wireless keyboard and mouse to operate it.

yeah problem is I have a really nice Logitech wireless mouse i bought seperate. Doesn't seem many keyboards come without the mouse. And I just don't know much about them was wondering if any were better then others.

I strongly recommend you go to a closeby tech shop (e.g. best buy) and try typing on them. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to typing.

That being said, I have an Everglide DKTBoard. It is very compact (good for carrying around for LAN parties and such) and has backlighting which gets some oohs and ahhs from my friends :D

I've seen roll up silicone keyboards that are nice and portable.. they are corded though... also cheap.
