    get multiple Slingboxes?

if you have a spare PC(or build a basic one for around $300), you could put a $50 PCI card with analog and digital tuners...

i haven't had the time, resources or money to build a desktop as a media center/backend yet, but there are ways to 'stream' tv from the backend

mythtv/linux backend: (need to get tuners compatible with linux) with windows front end http://www.mythpvr.com/mythtv/windows-frontend-player.html

if you decide to go the backend route using linux or windows, come back and post your results... i might have enough money to build a decent HTPC/gaming machine by year-end
