    north face surge or big shot?

    I'm debating whether or not I'll get one or the other. I know that my M1530 will definitely fit the big shot, but not sure about the surge. Anyone know how well padded the two backpacks are? I'm 5'6" so do you think the backpacks will fit me fine(will not make me feel awkward with a huge backpack)?

    I use the Surge. 'm 6 ft and they fit comfortably but I definitely have to say they're big to anyone smaller than 5 ft 8.

    I suggest looking through ebags.com for a different suggestion. That's where I bought the Surge from and there are hundreds of customer reviews ranging from college students to people saying that it was too big or them and the like.
