    Most likely lag is due to limited USB transfer rate/speed. Not really sure how to correct if it is due to this though.

    Don’t underestimate USB bandwidth, 480Mbps is more than enough to run an external sound card. I’m sure the problem is not that.


    @trumpetgod: What exactly do you mean by subwoofer lags ? Drum beats and low bass sounds are heard with a delay ?. do you have CMSS3D enabled ? Turn off that and all other effects (EAX, Crystallizer, Equalizer, etc..) and try.

    There are settings on the sound card software for it to emulate the sound to the rear channels. I dont remember where, im not at home with my creative card and 5.1 setup.
