i am running vista x64
i own:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102020
the software says 5.1 and vista says 5.1, btw
when i play some songs, not all, on 5.1, the subwoofer lags behind. when the same song is played on 2.1 settings, it is fine. suggestions?

Most likely lag is due to limited USB transfer rate/speed. Not really sure how to correct if it is due to this though.

@trumpetgod: What exactly do you mean by subwoofer lags ? Drum beats and low bass sounds are heard with a delay ?. do you have CMSS3D enabled ? Turn off that and all other effects (EAX, Crystallizer, Equalizer, etc..) and try. -
thanks for the help, but it just stopped doing it. cold turkey. no explanation.

There are settings on the sound card software for it to emulate the sound to the rear channels. I dont remember where, im not at home with my creative card and 5.1 setup.
