just got a cooler master notepal w1. first time owning one of these things, should i keep it on at all times or only in certain cases? i pretty much leave my notebook on 24 hours a day, so i'm not really too sure how to go about it.

I don't know what to say... Would you have a problem keeping the cooler on all day?

if that claim is true, it would still be 3+ years before it died.

I leave mine on whenever I have my laptop on.
