The dell 9300 has a s-video out jack will display on to your big screen. Just make sure your big screen has an s-video jack on it. Remember, this is video only.. no sound.

If you have a DVI-input on your TV, then I suggest getting a DVI > DVI cable - that would provide the best quality.

Of course, S-Video would work, it just doesn't deliver the picture quality of DVI.

s-video to s-video is a very common cable. any place that sells cables will have it. 10 to 20 bux.

like above said, no audio, you'll need a 1/8" to stereo RCA for audio connection; plug into your headphone jack and RCAs into your tv or receiver or whatever

Most laptop don't have DVI port. Some do such as Apple but are rare. Most laptop have VGA port or S-Video. Some new flat screen TV have VGA port. Others have DVI. I think you might be able to get a VGA->DVI connector. not sure on that though.

Acer 8100 is another that has DVI. Yes Radio Shack carries S-Video cables.

my95civ, it may help if you posted a link to your TV's manual, or at least a model number. Some newer HD-capable TVs will have a VGA in, especially if it's a DLP or LCD based set.
