hey, i wanted to ask if a 14" notebook stand can hold a 15,6" laptop? and would the cooling effect be less effective if the laptop is larger than the holder? the holder doesnt have a fan and the material is made of metal.

I have a friend that uses a 15" stand with his HP HDX18. It looks kind of funny, but works.
