Hi,
I recently purchased a Dell E1505 , but have not received it yet. I want to buy a surge protector for my new laptop and have right from the start. I started searching in the web for a fairly good notebook surge protector.
Came to the conclusion of buying a APC, the ones you plug to the ac adapter cord (APC PNOTEPRO, APC NOTEBOOKPRO). Since i haven't received my notebook yet i don't know if the ac adapter si either 3-pin or 2-pin.
I searched in dell.com but they don't have a picture for it.
If anyone can help me out, take a picture and post it or whatever....please do!!![]()

I don't have that notebook, but I don't think I've ever seen a 3-prong adaptor.

Dell AC adapter are three pin.

See, good thing you asked, LOL. That's what I get for using ultra ports all the time.

To add to confusion. I have both a 3 pin (travel adapter with car/plane adapter) and a 2 pin AC adapter.
My 6000 came with a 3 pin and my wife's has a 3 pin. -
My e1505 AC adapter is a 2 pin.
