heya, i been searching around for a bag for a while now and this one MAY be the one im looking for. i have an NP5793 and the laptop compartment dimensions do suggest that they would fit my laptop. BUT with all the pictures ive seen im doubting the numbers. if anyone here owns are knows of a online buyers review where i can see the backpack with something to scale it with i would highly appreciate it.

if you have pictures of your own backpack, i would love for some pictures to be posted here.

also if you have any other suggestions that u know would fit my laptop do tell. my only parameters are that it looks pretty cool and its not massive as most 17" laptop bags are. all i need mainly is the laptop and maybe a few books and things here and there.

    my dimensions: 15.6" (w) x 11.5" (d) x 1"~1.8" (h)

    thanks ahead of time

    EDIT- backpack dimensions: 16"h x 12.5"w x 1.5"d

well i just got it in, and i got some bitter sweet news.

pros- it looks so hot, best lookin laptop bag i ever seen. never seen anyone else with it now so im pretty much the only one where i live. its very well put together and theres a compartment for everything, and the main compartment is HUGE.

cons :( - well my laptop didnt fit in the designated laptop spot, becuase like the other bag i got, you have to put it in at an angle, *SIGH* but oh wait!!! what about that huge compartment?!?! yeah it fits in there!! not what it was meant for but it works. (note that you have to put it in top first than slide it down to the bottom or else the circular flap will stop yah.)

other notes- its white, i dont expect it to stay white forever...keep that in mind. one day there will be a kid with koolaid running around and its going to spill on it. even if that kid has to be me, it will happen.

all in all its a great lookin bag, but i plan to get a 17" laptop sleeve to put my laptop in so it doesnt get scratched by the bag and anything i put on top of it. if you have a 15" laptop, this is the bag for you! if you have a 17" it will fit but u just gotta use a bit more effort.

here is a little glimps of what im packin for my np5793:

Thanks dude, I went ahead and bought a different Ogio myself, its not supposed to be for laptops though. It doesnt have a special pocket for one. The dimensions seemed big enough, but I dont have my lappy yet (m570TU) so i can only hope that it'll fit. I can fit the 17" sleeve in it with some room to spare, but i know the laptop will probably stretch the sleeve a bit.

I went for the Ogio 1950 as its got a "Hydration System" which seemed like a good idea for when i'm snowboarding (which is the bags intended use).
