it fits perfectly my dv4000. so for those out there who want a bag that looks cool and fits your notebook snuggly, check out this bag. It's also stylish and functional enough when your on a hike or traveling, the laptop sleeve doubles as a hydration pack. And of course there's north face's lifetime warranty and durability on their product.

    Final Decision, NORTH FACE.

asdf...hahaha cool, I'm probably going to be getting that pack as well for my lappy.

Does your dv4000 fit perfectly or is there extra room?

Cool I just checked the size of the dv4000 and it's similar to the Z70va, so my baby should fit fine as well.

The lady who emailed me about the size of the compartment said it would do fine. I asked her for the exact dimensions and didn't reply back hahaha.

She also suggested getting the pack cover if I'm going to be in the rain because the pack isn't water PROOF, it's water resistant. HAHAHA what a lady, what a lady.

    Cheers,
    Mike

well water proof, what's the pack cover? as for the dv4000, it fits veery snuggly. like it doesn't just drop in there, it's hugged in there. So depending on your lappie, as long as smaller in any proportion of my dv4000, should be fine. Who'd you email regarding the pack that she recommended the pack cover? Not like i plan on sendin my laptop into the ocean for travels, but as from where i've seen prices mountainsports i think was cheapest. use shopzilla and that's where i found.

getting the red, or "indian clay".

i believe waterproof means that no matter over extended period of time will water penetrate the material. water resistant means for the initial downpour, it'll protect. generaly water resistant materials are made so by some type of film or coating which over time becomes less and less water resistant.

asdf is correct, but I won't shell out money for an ugly pack cover. She was just trying to make money haha.

I don't recall the rep that contacted me, but my friend just went to Atlanta to visit his family and he told me there's an outlet there, so he can get it cheap. I can't wait.

Thanks for the info on the compartment asdf~!

Awwwww how cute.....my puppy is dreaming about sucking on something. She's all, you know making that suckling sound.

Okay that didn't sound too cute, but it is. awwwwwwwww

Santa came early for me this christmas and brought me a laptop and a puppy. :D

    Cheers,
