    as the title says, hopefully one thats below 150usd. i want something that will fit into my backpack and ideal;y with cheap and available replacement ink/cartridges.

    the bjc 80 is definitely small but it is one of the older models. have you tried using it with win7 and does it come with a usb port

    Windows 7 ships with a driver for the BJC-80. But it DOES have a parallel port, not USB. I recommend the HP OfficeJet H470.

    wow that paralel port will be a problem. ill check that h470 on amazon...

    Yeah, I have purchased 2 H470WBT's for work and both have held up really well. Daily use of about 25 pages printed 5 days a week over a year. The bluetooth has been as solid as bluetooth can get.

    Would certainly recommend them to anyone.

    thanks for the inputs on the h470 hal and bc.
    from the pictures in amazon it looks like a bulky printer. would this fit into my oakley backpack together with my laptop?

    I have a BJC-80 with USB/parallel adapter I could sell you. I have ink cartridges as well for it but I think it needs a new ink cradle thing because it's dried up. The cradle piece is <$10 on ebay.

    thanks for the offer but i think that i would prefer something brand new and with a warranty.
    on a side note, have you gotten your bjc-80 to run in win 7?
