I just bought my HP DV2000T and decided I need some sort of port replicator to plug all of my perifs into...

    1) Does using a port replicator slow everything on it down a lot? It's just going through 1 USB jack...

    2) My notebook has a VGA out but no dvi out. Would I be able to use the full capabilitities of my DVI lcd monitor if I found a port replicator that had a DVI out?

    My Wants
I have a monitor(lcd wide with vga and dvi), several (4-5) USB devices, would like to use ethernet when home, speaker outs would be nice ...

Thanks for all of your help and please suggest any option you think is best!
