:) Hi, I need help on choosing a cooler for my Sony Vaio SZ, which has a 13.3" screen.

I will be traveling overseas this summer, so I decided that I need a cooler to fight the summer heat. I'm looking for a efficient cooler that is light to carry for traveling.

"Efficiency" and "Portability" are the most important things to me, especially Efficiency, because at some point, i will be using the laptop in a hot area without AC, so surrounding temperature will get pretty high for a laptop...

Portability is also important, because I will need to carry it from place to place. But if I can't have both "Efficiency" and "Portability", then I'm willing to sacrifice the portability a bit...

Also, my laptop is 4 lbs. I don't really want to carry a cooler which has about the same weight as my laptop...

I'm looking at the Zalman NC1000 now, the size seems to fit nicely with my SZ, but the review on NBR suggests that it's heavy. So is NC1000 a good choice for me? Is it the most efficient one at that price? anyone has experience with carrying NC1000 for a trip?

If NC1000 is not a good choice, can you recommend one or a few?

    Thanks in advance.

many 13.3" notebook owners on NBR have gotten the NC1000 and has positive results.

search for Dell M1330 pics & impressions with the NC1000... they are floating around these forums.

the NC 1000 isnt that heavy at all. You'll be fine with it.
