I'm searching for a portable laptop cooler and I have no idea where to look.

Initially I was just going to buy the NZXT Cryo LX because it folds, but it seems like it might be too bulky. I need a portable cooler that can cool a 17.3 inch Widescreen

Is there a cooler out there that is portable and has amazing cooling abilities out there? I'm willing to shell out 100-150 dollars if one does exist

On second thought should I just get the Cryo.

agreed. The two features just do not work together. The sacrifice would be very loud fans and an A/C adapter since 500ma is the maximum draw from the USB port, and the A/C adapter would make portability useless. It's the equivilent of asking for a 700HP car that gets 80mpg.

Throttle the CPU and prop it up on some bottle caps. I hear they're very portable.

The bulk of the most portable coolers are passive. Active (as far as I've seen) means at least 2 fans that are each 1" thick.
