i took my i2100 to hong kong a couple years ago. i only needed a converter to fit the wall socket since the transformer (the black box in line with a/c cord) had a variable range that allowed for HK voltage. my new 6000's transformer will handle a range of 100-240 volts. check the transformer and see if it will handle UK spec voltage. if so, all you need is the converter to fit the wall outlet. if not, you will have to purchase a UK spec cord.

at most electronic stores you can buy international conversion kits and if nothing else they sell them in airports.
