I bought the Kensington wireless optical bluetooth mouse. My Toshiba Bluetooth built-in adaptor on the Fujitsu S7020 recognizes the mouse, but the next step is for it to register a HID device, and then I get an error message "registering a HID device to this system failed"- VERY FRUSTRATING! Any suggestions?

Start by looking for an updated Bluetooth stack. You may find that the mouse won't work without its dongle.

Actually, that mouse doesn't have one, which is why I bought it.
Although the tech support people were less than helpful (the Fujitsu support was great- tried very hard, but couldn't figure it out, while the Kensington support people were simply idiots, including the supervisor) , I eventually did figure it out (3 hours later...grrr....). The HID driver must have been corrupted; after finding an exclamation in device manager, I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. The mouse still did some weird things- installed and was recognized but didn't work. So I deleted the mouse and then reinstalled it, and it was fine. Didn't realize, though, that you nned to hold down the left mouse button for several seconds to activate it- it would have been nice itf that was included int he instructions. Despite the nightmare of installation, it is a GREAT mouse!
problems connecting bluetooth mouse- any suggestions?
