My laptop is turned on most of the day and I mainly use AC power with the battery in the laptop. Will the life span of the battery be shortened if its fully charged at 100% while using AC power at the same time? Will overcharging it while using AC power most of the day be bad for it? Since I mainly use AC power, should I take out the battery when it's charged at 100% or just leave it in the laptop. I want to maximize the life of my laptops battery, so what is the best method to do so? If anyone has great advice to share please do. I have an HP dv series laptop. Thanks
