as of now i'm on my roomate's laptop, since my 2090 doesn't get here till a week....i purchased the artec mini usb 2.0 http://meritline.com/artec-mini-usb-2-0-digital--tv-tuner.html

it picks up the regular tv channel in standard/HD....

but when i disconect the attena to connect the usb to a coaxial, it doesn't pick up none of the channels in my dorm...

since it's ATSC compatible, is there a way i could pick up NTSC signals?

ATSC is for wireless only. For cable, you need DVB-C, also known as QAM.
