hey there , i need a little help,
i ll receive an LCD TV in a few weeks, and i am just wondering what will be better for gaming
    - connection the laptop with a long HDMI cable to the LCD tv and play from laptop controls
    - OR buy a wireless mouse and keyboard and leave the laptop sitting next to the TV and connected to it
will i feel any difference while gaming with wireless accessories?
    thanks in advance

How about a wireless keyboard + an Xbox360 controller, from my experience a keyboard and mouse on the couch is hard to pull off.

Or you can check out the PS3 bluetooth keyboard (Works with PC), I got it because it has a trackpad built into the keyboard and its all wireless. Got it to play MMOs with on the TV, its decent but does lag from time to time, but gets the job done.

I think just depends on what controls you would like better.

If you like the feel of your laptop and it would be easier to have it close to you, get the long hdmi cable..

If you like a desktop keyboard better, get the wireless stuff.

Id probably go the latter, using the external keyboard means not placing wear on the laptop, also means not needing the laptop close to me (that could be in the way of somebody in harms way, or not in a flat well ventilated area.)
