what are the difference between the different razer mice? like the deathadder, copperhead etc
-
i'm guessing the main thing is the shape
-
Yep, pretty much shape.
-
what's the best model for a right hander??
-
Depends on how you grip a mouse - claw, palm, etc.
-
i'm between a palm and a claw
-
Me too, and I use the Razer Diamondback 3G. It's an ambidextrous mouse though, which bothers some people. Not sure what your opinion is of that.
-
the dsi is also different between models
-
you can compare between 3 different mouse at a time here.

I personally came from a logitech g5 (which still runs and works fine but now on other pc) to a Razer Lachesis and I really like it.
It isnt exactly what I would have liked as I am more of a palm user than a claw user coming from the G5, but going to a Deathadder would have actually been a downgrade for me as far as specs, so i sacrifice the palm specific to a palm/claw of the Lachesis but its worth it for the performance upgrade. I use it on a rocketfish aluminum based gaming pad as well.
Looking at the mamba, it looks like it would be perrrrfect for me, but its just way too expensive, so if you dont mind the shape and have the money id highly reccomend the lachesis from razer -

The Deathadder has a great feel, I suggest that. I owned both the Diamondback and the Copperhead and the Deathadder is more comfortable than both.
I currently use a Boomslang CE 2007. -
deathadder is really comfy
-
the only mouse i've used by razer is the lachesis, and i really like it.

I just ordered the lachesis so hopefully feels as good as they say
-
Get a deathadder, its a solid mouse for gaming
Though i find the lachesis better for the extra $$ -
which is better, logitech g5 or the deathdadder??
-
For those two, I'd suggest try them out yourself. The DA is lighter, side buttons are larger. mouse clicks are also lighter (personal opinion). Its all about personal preference.
-
And for the G5's end in comparison, the G5 has a bit more of a shaped feel to it (esp for palm type) and I want to say the G5 has a little higher specs on it and idk if they do it any more but has adjustable weight (mine did)
-
What about the g9. its only 49.99 at amazon right now.

Please stay on-topic in this thread; it is about the differences between Razer mice models. Feel free to start another thread if you want to compare to different brands.
-
i can tell you that the g9 is very comfy..it also come with different textures for the cover. weight is great..slides great on all surfaces.
but i currently have a vx..nano and im very happy with it
-
I was asking how it compared to the razers at the same price point...

Right, but this thread is about Razer mice and not Logitech. Like I said, start another thread if you want to do comparisons w/ Logitech. -
w3rd I suppose.
I'm too used and a fan of Razer to easily go back to Logitech anyway
-
the thing is, i live in the Philippines and i can't test different razer mouse because i have only one supplier who will special order it from abroad and he will only order one at a time with no replacement
a deathadder here will cost around 5,000 pesos or around $100
-
Woah, what? How much would it cost to have it shipped there? Can't be 50 bucks... If you paid in advance, I'd be willing to buy from .Newegg and ship to you.
-
Heya boypogi, I live in the Philippines as well. There are places in Greenhills and Gilmore where they sell razer mice at reasonable prices. Deathadder usually goes around for 2,500 pesos not 5,000
Oh and I personally use the Deathadder as well. I find it very comfortable and very light. Having a good mousepad also helps a lot.
razer!!!
