I have the Wenger(Swiss Army) Synergy backpack. You can get them at most stores now such as CircuitCity, BestBuy, and many more. The padded compartment(front, back and bottom are padded) fits upto 15.4" screen but heard that a 15.4" will be a super tight fit and not be able to zip it up. I have a 14.1" screen and it fits it perfectly.

Anyone use the Skooba, by Roadwired?
Nice light case, with "air square" protection, hundreds of air filled squares which surround your laptop!
Nice looking case, and plenty of storage....

I saw a sale of this model for around $40 in Buy.com some time ago but since I paid around $45 I think I got a good deal.
Pretty sturdy, nice looking with lots of bags everywhere and fits the 15.4 in perfectly -
I use the SwissGear Synergy Backpack by Wenger. The padding is excellent and there are plenty of compartments. Whether it is light to carry is relative. I would say that it is comfortable enought to carry behind your back. I bought mine at Ebay before Christmas 2005 for less than U$50 shipping included so that certainly was a very pretty good deal.
