Any suggestions for a remote control to operate the dvd player and media contents in the computer while it is connected to a TV?
I understand that there are some pcmcia remote controls amd logitech media play mouse around, so anyone used them before can give some feedback.
    Thks

Just get a media center remote, like sheff suggested. It works with both media center and regular Xp. I got mine off ebay for around $20, and it comes with a USB IR receiver. Works well! Dell should some also.

    Hi,

Do you know if MCE Remote Control actually works on any XP?

Or I have to install XP MCE to make it work?

    Actually I'm using XP Pro.

    Thanks!!

Get an ati remote wonder remote control. those things use an rf reciever, meaning u dont have to point at anything to use the remote. I think it can go up to 50ft. i can take my remote into the bathroom and still use it. rf goes through walls =)
