    Hello

I have a question about removing the Thinkpad battery. I have checked the user manual, but it is not very clear to me.

Here I mean the removable battery of a Thinkpad laptop. I do not mean the internal battery

The laptop I had (which was Not ThinkPad) was first to unlock one of the battery latch and then push another latch to pop out the battery

But this ThinkPad laptop requires me to push and hold both latches and push the battery out at the same time. It's not convenient to do so. But Is it norma design??

Since none of the latches could stay in place at the unlocking position.

If you lift it right up while holding both latches, battery should fall out by itself, at least that's how I used to do it on my old Thinkpad, unless they changed the design since.
