Im going to get a dlink router i suppose, for like around 50$, is it possible to boost the distance from one house to another? its a small town, street, where signal is needed is short, distance = 300yards( -+50yards). like 4 houses between, all are wooden.
If its possible - i can pay +30$ i think.
can you give me some links and advices thanks

remember the signal is only as good as the computer/laptop's ability to transmit back to the router. Just because a router sends a stronger signal does not mean a NIC can respond with signal strong enough to get back to the router.
