    Hello:
    would like to know about s-video. My computer has s-video out, but my television does not... can I hook the cable into my vcr which has s-video and run it through that to my tv? or is there a cable from s video to rca plugs to pluginto the vcr? any help would be appreciated :confused:

    You should be able to run it into your VCR and then use the various RCA component cables from your VCR to TV. After that switch to the "video" channel or whatever mode you use to watch DVD's. I'd give it a shot anyway.

    You didn't mention whether you were using a composite (1 lead) or component (3 lead) on your TV. If you're using composite, perhaps something like this cable will do the trick. A nice bonus is that it also feeds audio from your notebooks 1.5mm audio out to a stereo RCA connection.
