I was wondering how many people use a screen protector with their notebooks? Particularly those who have portables/ultraportables where the clearance between the screen and the keyboard is small when the screen is closed. Is it really necessary?
If you do use a screen protector, what do you use, where did you get it, and does it work?

I used to lay a microfiber cloth down when I close dht elid on my old P7. The new one has no rub though, so I've stopped.

Anyone try those keyboard protectors? How is typing on them/using the mouse/touchpad?

Every new laptop comes with a protective "cloth". That's the one I use. I know most people throw it out with the styro packing and plastic bags.
