    How so?

It is attached to your laptop monitor, so whenever angle it's at, slidenjoy's at.

USB powered and driven means limited performance and suck your battery life quickly. It does have its uses though, and looks pretty cool.

Pretty sure if you have to have triple monitors, you'd be using a power cord..

HTWingNut, sadly, true video outputs kill portability and compatibility. Possible effects of those magnetic covers on convertible in tablet mode (without those monitors, obviously) is something that concerns me, though.

I'm sure it works without power cord, but I'm sure each LCD draws at least 3W each.

does not say which chip they using, but undoubted would be displaylink?, so most stuff that need your gpu wont work.

I can see its use, but not really for everyone ~ and the price aren't that bad. 299euro for 2 fhd ips panel and displaylink chip. these panel probably are edp laptop panels.

The hinge in the video is weak, and you probably need a desk if the laptop have a weak hinge . glossy screen ewwww.

3W-4W is not that bad, idle avg at least 7W for most laptops.

It is glossy in the video, but I have a feeling the panels can be swapped with enough tinkering~ 600000euro is about 2000 set of twin, that make it 4000 panels, which wont happen to be a custom order imo.

If you just want a decent external panel then get the GeChic 13" USB powered 1080p IPS panel:
    http://www.amazon.com/GeChic-1303H-Portable-Monitor-MiniDisplay/dp/B00PQDHAMW

I have one and it's an excellent portable 1080p LCD. Uses USB power to run it, but uses HDMI, DP, or VGA (with adapter) so it uses your laptop's GPU. It's not cheap at about $370 (I got mine for $300), but it's probably same price as this thing, and about your only option out there for a portable monitor that uses your computer's actual display ports.

HTWingNut, while GeChic 1303 panels are great, I believe their pricing is somewhat ridiculous. If they sold IPS externals for $200 and below instead of TN, I guess I'd buy one.

Yeah that GeChic 1303 IPS at $350-$400 is a bit ridiculous. I think $200 is a good price for an IPS. I bought mine for $300 and only bought it because price dropped and I knew it was a good deal so grabbed one up. Been a very useful piece of kit though. Mainly for my work laptop that has a crappy 1366x768 TN panel and when I'm not at my desk with my dual 1080p LCD's it at least gives me the extra real estate I need and decent viewing angles.
